Conner Smith

Hello! I'm Conner Smith, a passionate technology professional based in Oklahoma City. I recently graduated with my Computer Science degree and for nearly a year, I've been working with 580strategies as a QA Tester and Junior Software Developer. In this role, I've been fortunate to contribute to impactful projects and significantly enhance my skills within the Salesforce ecosystem. I'm also currently spearheading the implementation of a DevOps pipeline at work, gaining valuable hands-on experience in automation and modern development practices. Previously, I completed an internship as a Junior Software Engineer and Scrum Master, aiding in the development of a Progressive Web App for Native American Tribes.

With a strong background in cloud computing, web development, and Agile project management, I hold an AWS Solutions Architect - Associate certification. My hands-on experience includes working with AWS services, Docker, MariaDB, and ensuring HIPAA compliance for secure handling of PII. I've also become more proficient with DevOps methodologies and the Salesforce ecosystem.

Beyond technology, I have a diverse set of interests. I enjoy making my own music, playing computer games, and I'm an avid follower of cars and Formula 1. I also have a keen interest in board games, Dungeons and Dragons, astronomy, and have recently been dedicating more time to improving my golf game.

My passion for technology, particularly cloud solutions and software development, stems from its essential role in shaping the future. I believe that many complex problems can be solved using innovative tech, and I'm eager to contribute to making the world a better place through these advancements.
